THE BRAIN SERIES · BOOK FIVE
The Humbled Brain
The Humbled Brain is the fifth and final book in The Brain series by Dr. Gurpreet Singh Padda, MD, MBA, MHP. It is still being written, and the four finished books are linked below.
In progress.
Not finished, and not going to be rushed
This is the fifth and final book in The Brain series. It is being written. When it is done it will carry the same apparatus as the other four: a Deep Dive behind every chapter, every claim traced to a study, and a plain account of where the evidence is thin.
Until then, the four that exist are below. Each one is a complete argument on its own.
The Starved Brain — the brain as an organ that can be underfed in the middle of abundance.
The Pained Brain — pain as a signal with a source, and what the source usually is.
The Angry Gut — the first brain, and what it does to the second.
The Dopamine Brain — wanting and liking come apart, and why that changes what you can treat.
